A lady named Marie. You might know her as Queen of France.

[He laughed as he thought of it then, because it sounded very familiar.]

So a bit like the mooncell then. In a sense. But I suppose if that's the case, it makes me wonder why more prismals didn't go along...

Queen of France...Marie...Marie Antoinette?!

[Because she's seeing a trend here in famous people. Also, what would France and Austria say!]

Oh! A mooncell... [Something she didn't hear before.] And I am unsure myself. Although, one reason could be they like to be slavedrivers. [Look, they might be nice to them, but she sees what they're doing. They're making them gophers!]

[galatining]

[Really he knows so many famous people just by virtue of being one himself. It's insane being the equivelent of a celebrity.\

And the less talking of the mooncell, the better right now.] So do you think they brought us here to make us work for them? Though I cannot imagine it being that convenient. Then again a lot of things in this world are unhelpful despite best intentions.

[Or maybe he's an old man.]

[It's true, celebrities attrack celebrities.

Hmm, he might be right, however.]

We have been working a fair lot for them, that I would not be surprised if there is something else they are not telling us. With how we randomly get attacked, no?

[It's okay, they're old together.]

[galatining]

It is suspicious. Then again, this isn't the first time I have been tasked with fixing someone else's debts and it will not be the last.

[Such is the life of a Servant.]

Though at least I can cope with it as long as I have good friends by my side.

[He smiled at her softly.]

Not the first time? Oh, because you are a Heroic Spirit...

[She scowls, because she won't change her mind on hating the fact that Heroic Spirits are also "Servants". Just the terminology annoys her, even though she entered a contract with Siegfried a long time ago that she knows you can exercise equality.

She reaches out to take his hand and nods.]

Likewise, we'll work together, no?

[galatining]

[It is an odd word, especially considering some of those who do become Servants. Prideful Kings, warriors and schemers are honestly more likely to be summoned than the humble.

Granted, Gawain's never been bothered overly much by the title. But that's probably a conversation for another time.

But he returns her grip.]

Yes we shall. I look forward to fighting along side you.

[Though whether he wanted the opportunity to present itself or not was another matter.]

[It really is a conversation for another day, considering she'd be insistent that he is his own person, and a master should treat him as equal.

She manages a smile as he squeezes her hand back.]

As am I. I'd do my best to protect you. And your back.

[Just saying, she got him covered.]

[Another time indeed, since it would require him to dig more deeply and lay out more than either of them are ready for.]

Then I shall have nothing to fear. There's nothing more heartening to hear than knowing you only have to look forward thanks to the person with you.

[Yeah that sounds pretty deep, right?]

[It's true, Gawain is going to have to think about these things.]

That it is. And we make an excellent team.

[There are a lot of people here like that of course, but with her the bond feels especially strong.]
