[ of course gawain is a saber-class. he, too, is most suited to it, and despite himself, he almost smiles. really.. he's just the same as he ever was, isn't he? ] Are you? [ he wonders lightly, as if this man hadn't spent years at his side. .. well. another version of this man.
after a moment, though, he shakes his head. ] No master. [ he would've sensed ayaka by now, and he hopes--prays, if god listens to beings like him--that she'll be left to live peacefully. she's been through enough. ]
What of you? [ is he well? if he has a master, are they strong enough to provide what he needs..? ]
[On his own then? Well at least it wasn't such a burden in this place. The world provided on it's own well enough, though Gawain hadn't felt as strong as he did. Not back in Chaldea or with Leo.
Though this information means they potentially will not have to come to blows with one another. It's always a worry when you meet a new Servant in this place, though Gawain can handle such issues better than most. The benefit of being strong.]
I do. A young lady. I'm actually one of several Servants she has though. [He pauses.] There is a system where we are from that allows for such a thing.
Ah. [ this isn't the surprise it might have been, thanks--and he never thought he'd say this, even to himself--to gilgamesh of all men. ] I've been told that the masters here are good people. I was glad to hear it. [ after manaka and sancraid phahn, a part of him can't help but be.. wary, perhaps. ] I have to admit, though, that it was quite a surprise to hear. [ a single magus supporting multiple servants at a time.. one or two is the most he's seen before, and even that's difficult for some.
and.. he shouldn't ask, he knows, but he can't help himself. he needs to know. ]
You said you were a knight, [ he says, as if he's just remembering. ] Are there other knights here, then?
[Yes thankfully the Masters here are kind, though Gawain has to wonder what happened to make this young man to find that relief. Not that he doesn't know of such Masters. He and Leo defeated enough of them on the Mooncell and they were a mixed bag.
He's been lucky enough both times he's served a Master, first with Leo and then with Ritsuka.]
Other knights. Yes there are two my number here. One is Sir Mordred and the other is a very famous Archer. [He knows that Mordred probably doesn't care about her True Name, but Tristan might. He should probably ask his comrade sometime.] You have an interest?
